Application

1. Lotus leaf extract (Nuciferine) contains a variety of lipid alkaloids, can effectively break down the fat of body and excreted.

Alkaloids have antiviral, anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effects. The total alkaloids had anti-mitotic effect and inhibitory effect on pancreatic lipase. Lotus leaf extract can inhibit the proliferation of HIV.

2. Lotus leaf extract (Nuciferine) can be powerfully adhere to human intestinal wall, forming a layer of fat isolation membrane, preventing fat from being absorbed and accumulation.

Flavonoids from lotus leaf can significantly reduce serum cholesterol (TC), decrease serum triglyceride (TG), decrease body weight and increase serum HDL-C, HL and LPL enzyme activities in hyperlipidemia rats. Lotus leaf extract can reduce the digestion capacity of the body, reduce the absorption of lipids and carbohydrates, and strengthen the regulation of lipid metabolism and energy loss, so as to effectively resist obesity.
