Although each locale grows a different species of wild yam, both species contain diosgenin, the active ingredient in the plant.

 

Function

Wild Yam Extract contains diosgenin, which has anti-fatigue, anti-inflammatory, anti-stress, hypocholesterolemic, and estrogenic effects.
