Description

Betulin(lup-20(29)-ene-3β,28-diol) is a rich natural triterpene. It is usually isolated from the bark of birch trees and accounts for 30% of the dry weight of the extract. Chemically, birch brain is a triterpenoid compound with a lupin structure. It has a five-ring structure and a hydroxyl group at the C3 and C28 positions.

Function

1.White Birch bark extract can cure cough, expectorant.
2. White Birch bark extract has an inhibitory effect on certain strains of pneumococcus, cannathine and S. aureus.
