• Geranium is a perennial herb that grows up to 50 cm tall. Rhizome stout straight, stem erect, solitary, basal leaves and cauline leaves opposite; Stipules ovate-triangular or distally narrowly lanceolate, basal leaf blade ellipsoid, inflorescences axillary and terminal, slightly longer than leaves, pedicels inversely pubescent, bracts subulate, pedicels similar to pedicels, flowers and fruit usually erect; Sepals long ovate or ovate-elliptic, petals white or reddish, obovate, filaments light brown, capsule pubescent and strigose. Flowers in June to August and fruit in August to September.
