Secnidazole is a kind of nitroimidazole antigens and anaerobes drugs, its structure and pharmacological action is similar to metronidazole, under normal temperature is white to like white or slightly yellow crystalline powder, odorless, bitter taste, with anti-trichomonad, anti-amoeba action.Originally developed by pharmaceutical company Rhone-Poulencrorer of France, it kills parasites and anaerobic bacteria by destroying DNA strands or inhibiting DNA synthesis during their growing phase.

For the treatment of various acute and chronic liver and intestine amebiasis and urethra, vagina, prostate, etc. trichomoniasis.
